Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 5, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of Medad, including our subscription plans, billing, cancellation, refunds, and returns. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, starting a free trial, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using Medad ("Medad", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Medad on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms on its behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. The Services

Medad is an AI-powered clinical platform for healthcare professionals. Depending on your plan, the Services include the Clinical Assistant, Drug Search, Clinical Calculators and custom calculators, Clinical Library, Templates, Personal Assistant (email and calendar), Morning Conference, Branding Studio, Education Builder, Clinical Simulation (solo and team), and Clinical Analytics.

We continuously improve Medad and may add, change, or remove features. If we remove a core feature of your paid plan, we will give you reasonable notice.

3. Eligibility & accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and a healthcare professional, healthcare student, or an organization in the healthcare or education sector.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • Accounts are personal. You may not share your account with others. Enterprise plans provide separate seats for team members.

4. Medical disclaimer

Medad is a clinical support tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. AI-generated content, drug information, dosing, calculator results, documentation, and simulation feedback may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

  • You must independently verify all information and rely on your own professional clinical judgment.
  • Medad is not a substitute for clinical guidelines, product labeling, specialist consultation, or institutional protocols.
  • Medad must not be used as the sole basis for patient care decisions, and must not be used in emergencies where immediate clinical action is required.
  • Patient education materials should be reviewed by you before being shared with patients.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services in violation of any law, professional regulation, or patient confidentiality obligation;
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is malicious, infringing, or unlawful;
  • Attempt to access other users' data, bypass plan limits or feature restrictions, or create multiple accounts to obtain additional free trials;
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or sublicense the Services without our written permission;
  • Interfere with the security or operation of the Services, including by introducing malware or overloading our systems; or
  • Use the Services to send spam or unsolicited communications through connected email accounts.

6. Your content & patient data

You keep ownership of the content you submit, including questions, notes, templates, uploaded documents, and simulation cases ("Your Content"). You grant Medad a limited licence to host, process, and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Services to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right and any required consent to enter patient information. We recommend de-identifying patient information before entering it. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Plans, free trial & billing

Medad offers the following monthly subscription plans:

PlanStandard price
Essentials19 USD / month
Professional49 USD / month
Clinical Pro79 USD / month
EnterpriseFrom 99 USD / month
  • Free trial: new users receive a 14-day free trial with access to all features. Each person or organization is eligible for one free trial only.
  • Card verification: when starting a trial through checkout, a small temporary authorization (for example, 1 USD) may be placed on your card to verify it. This authorization is voided and is not charged. Your bank may take a few business days to release it.
  • Recurring billing: paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in US Dollars (USD), and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor, PayTabs, to charge your payment method for each renewal.
  • Enterprise seats: Enterprise pricing starts at the base price shown and includes additional seats at 10 USD per extra user per month, up to 50 seats.
  • Promotions: promotional discounts apply only for the period and plans stated in the offer. Once a promotion ends, the standard price applies to future renewals.
  • Changing plans: when you switch to a different plan, your existing recurring subscription is cancelled and the new plan is billed from the date of the new payment. Unused time on the previous plan is not prorated, except where required by law.
  • Price changes: we may change our prices. We will notify you in advance, and the new price will apply from your next renewal after the notice period. You may cancel before the change takes effect.
  • Failed payments and expiry: if your trial ends without a paid plan, or a payment fails or your billing period ends without renewal, access to the Services is locked except for Settings, where you can renew.

8. Cancellation policy

  • Cancel anytime: you can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription, or by contacting us at info@medadhealth.com.
  • Effect of cancellation: cancellation stops all future automatic renewals. You keep full access to your plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. After that, your account is locked until you subscribe again.
  • Cancelling during the free trial: if you cancel before your 14-day trial ends, you will not be charged.
  • Timing: to avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before your renewal date. Cancellation does not by itself refund the current billing period. See the Refund policy below.
  • Your data after cancellation: cancelling does not delete your account or content. You can renew at any time to regain access. To permanently delete your account and data, contact us.
  • Enterprise plans: Enterprise subscriptions must be cancelled by the account owner or an administrator. Cancellation applies to all seats on the subscription.

9. Refund policy

Because Medad gives immediate access to digital services and offers a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate it before paying, subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partially used periods.

We will, however, issue a full or partial refund in the following cases:

  • You were charged more than once for the same billing period (duplicate charge);
  • You were charged an incorrect amount due to a billing error;
  • You were charged for a renewal after you had successfully cancelled before the renewal date;
  • The Services were unavailable or materially failed to work for an extended period due to a fault on our side, and we were unable to fix it within a reasonable time; or
  • A refund is required under applicable Saudi consumer protection or e-commerce laws.

How to request a refund:

  • Email info@medadhealth.com within 14 days of the charge, including your account email, the transaction reference (shown in Settings → Subscription → Payment history), and the reason for your request.
  • We will review your request and reply within 5 business days.
  • Approved refunds are issued in USD to the original payment method through PayTabs. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 7–14 business days for the refund to appear.
  • Refunds are limited to the amount you actually paid, after any discounts.
  • When a refund is issued for a billing period, access to paid features for that period may end immediately.

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank so we can resolve it quickly.

10. Returns policy

Medad is a digital, subscription-based software service. We do not sell or ship physical products, so there are no items to return or exchange.

Content you generate with Medad (such as documents, templates, education materials, and exports) is delivered digitally and cannot be "returned". If you are not satisfied with a paid subscription, you can cancel it at any time as described in the Cancellation policy, and you may be eligible for a refund under the Refund policy.

11. Intellectual property

Medad, including its software, design, logos, and content we provide (excluding Your Content), is owned by Medad or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these terms and your active subscription, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for your professional purposes.

You may use the output you generate with Medad in your professional work, subject to the medical disclaimer above and any rights of third parties.

12. Third-party services

Some features depend on third-party services, such as PayTabs for payments, Google for Gmail and Calendar integration, and AI and voice providers. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that are outside our control.

13. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medad is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any clinical decisions made using the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, misuse free trials, or use the Services in a way that may harm patients, other users, or Medad. Where reasonable, we will notify you first and give you an opportunity to fix the issue. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any prepaid fees for the unused part of your billing period.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute will first be addressed through good-faith discussion with our support team. If it cannot be resolved, it will be subject to the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you through the Services or by email. Changes to pricing apply only from your next renewal after notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
